    Japan invades China

    Japan invaded China for there resources and wanted to become an empire. They killed millions of Chinese man, women, and children. Events like the Rape of Nanking.
  • Munich Conference

    The meeting between Great Britain, France, Germany, and Italy to discuss Germany demanding the Sudentland in Czechoslovakia. Even though they werent invited to the confernece Czechslovakia had no choice to give up the land. After this they felt betrayed by Great Britain and France.
  • Non-Aggression Pact

    The deal between the Soviet Union and Germany. Which Hitler told Stalin that they wont invade the Soviet Union! But eventualy will invade Russia. Which was one of Hitler's biggest mistake in World War 2.
  • Germany Invades Poland

    Germany invades Poland but The Soviet Union couldnt do anything becuase of the Non Aggression Pact. The Soviet Union just splited Poland from the Soviet Union.

    The tatics that Germany used during World War II. In english Blitzkrieg means "lightning war". an attacking force spearheaded by a dense concentration of armoured and motorized or mechanized infantry formations, and heavily backed up by close air support forces a breakthrough into the enemy's line of defense through a series of short, fast, powerful attacks; and once in the enemy's territory, proceeds to dislocate them using speed and surprise, and then encircle them.

    The Battle of Britain was an air waged attack by The German Air Force against the United Kingdom. During the summer and antumn of 1940. The Luftwaffe bombed the United Kingdom's major cities including London.

    The Holocaust

    The Holocaust was the genocide of Jews. Nazi Germany was running concentration camps all over Europe during World War II. At first the Germans were just putting them into work camps but in 1945 they started the Final Soultion that killed 6 million Jewish, Gypsies, Poles, Disabled, and homosexual. No one really knew that the Holocaust was going on until the Russians found Concentration Camps at the end of the War.
  • Lend-Lease Act

    The United States made this deal with Allies countries but mostly with Great Britian. The United States would sell supplies to the Allied Forces. Like guns, tanks, warships, and anything else they need. Except for soldiers, America tried to stay out of the war as much as possible.
  • Operation Barbarossa

    This was the code name for Germany for the invasion of the Soviet Union. Germany broke their deal with the Soviet Union and invaded during Russia's long harsh winter. This was called Hitlers biggest mistake.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor was a surprise attack on the United States from Japan. They attacked battleships and aircraft carriers. With divebombers. The Japanese surprised attack killed thousands of people. After this attack Japan, Germany, and Italy declared war on the United States.And weakend the United States navy in the Pacific Ocean.

    It was an meeting with the Nazi high officals about their plans to do with Jews. They were planning the Holocuast and building concentration camps in Poland, Austria, and Germany. They were trying to 'purify' the world.

    began on April 9, 1942, was the forcible transfer by the Imperial Japanese Army of 60,000–80,000 Filipino and American prisoners of war after the three-month Battle of Bataan in the Philippines during World War II.
  • Battle of Midway

    The Battle of Midway was between United States and Japan. It was one the most important naval battle of World War II. It was a 3 day battle only six months after the Attack of Pearl Harbor. In this battle Japan used Kamakazi tatics to crash their planes too American warships.
  • Battle of Stalingrad

    The Battle of Stalingrad was a battle with Nazi Germany and its allies fought Soviet Union for the control of the city of Stalingrad. Marked by constant close combat in the city and assaults on civilians.It was alot of air raids on the city that targeted civillians and the military. Even thought the city was destroyed, The Soviet Union defended the city and ended the war on the Eastern Front.

    The operation began the invasion of German-occupied western Europe, led to the restoration of the French Republic, and contributed to an Allied victory in the war. Was the largest seabourne invasion in history.
  • Battle of the Bulge

    The Battle of the Bulge was a major German offensive push on the Western Front. They went through Beliguim, France and Luxemburg. Hitlers primary goal was to recapture the important harbour of Antwerp. Towards the end of the war.
  • Battle of Iwo Jima

    Was a major battle for the United States Air Force. They wanted to invade the small island by capturing their airstrips. This batle lasted for a month. Thousands of Americans died this battle.

    This is the day when Germany was forced to surrender. It was marked the end of World War II in Europe.
