Germany invaded Poland with Blizkrieg. Germany had invaded Poland for their land. An effect of this event would be Britian and France declaring war on Germany. -

The Japanese attacked an American harbor because of the United States cutting their oil supply. Due to this occurance many American soldiers died and the U.S. declared war on Japan. -
Bataan Death March
The Bataan Death March occurred when U.S. Troops Surrendered at the Baatan Peninsula due to the Japanese army overpowing them. Thousands of U.S. Soldiers died terribly at the hands of the Japanese because of this. -
Allied Invasion of Italy
The Allied invasion of Italy was the British Army attacking Italy because of their involvement in the Axis Powers and because of Italy not being equipped enough Britian overpowered them and imprisoned their dictator. -
D- Day (Normandy Invasion)
Americans stormed the beaches of Normandy to get the drop on Hitler and take out his forces. The U.S. ending up winning this fight and the Axis Powers became weaker. -
Battle of the Bulgle
In the Battle of the Bulge Hitler attempted Blizkreig on American soliders to split the Allied armies in Northwest Europe. In resullt to this over 100,000 U.S. Army causalties occured. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
On this day American soldiers held their first strike on Iwo Jima to weaken the Axis Powers and Japan in gerneral. In result of this thousands of American and Japanese people died. -
Battle of Okinawa
Allied forces invaded the island of Okinawa and attacked in an attempt to weaken Japan. So many soliders died and planes and ships were lost while this occured. -
VE Day
On Victory Europe day the Germans surrenered to the Allies due to the U.S. penetrating their forces. After this so much occured such as the suicied of Hitler and the Axis Powers losing Germany. -
Dropping of the atomic bombs
The U.S. dropped two atomic bombs on Japanese islands, Hiroshima and Nagasaki. The two atomic bombs dropped onto Hirohshima and Nagasaki were to completely wipe Japan out of the war. As expected due to the atomic bombs Japan suffered a huge amount of loss in people -
VJ Day
On VJ Day Japan surrendered with a ceremony in Tokyo Bay due to them being unable to fight WW2 anymore. Japan surrendering ended WW2.
