    Japanese Invasion of China
    At the beginning of the threats that were to China from Japan, the Chinese had tried to keep peace. After awhile, the Japanese decided to attack. The Japanese attacked because they wanted more land resources for themselves.     The word Kristallnacht means night of crystals or also known as the night of broken glass.This night consisted of arresting Jewish people and also shaddering windows of their shops. The German people did this to show dominance over the Jewish people and to make them have to clean it up. The impact that this night had was that this basucally had started the holocaust.     The term "blitzkrieg" means lighting war or in other words, to strike with bombs by using planes. The way of war then forever changed once this idea was brought in.     In June in 1941, the Germans had decided to attack the Soviet Union. In doing this they ended up taking a pretty big chunk of land. They did this so then they were able to become more powerful. One downfall in their paln was that they were not able to capture Moscow in the process which would have most likely caused the Soviet Union to fall and probably would have let them take over the whole world.     The Battle of Stalingrad
    This battle is probably the best battle in a way for the Soviet Union. The reason that I say that is because in this batlle they were surrounded by the Germans and somehow they fought their way out of it.     Bataan Death March
    On the Bataan Peninsula in the month April in 1942, the Japanese had taken revenge on the United States and Filipino soldiers. What they did was make all 75,000 troops make a 85 mile march in six days without no food or water. Most of the soldiers ended up dying along the way. The Japanese did this to show supiorority over the United States. This then caused the US to get angry and fight harder.

    The battle of Iwo Jima was a very "cool" to say battle. This battle consisted of the United States attacking the Japanese storage island. The United States ended uo winning the batlle and this battle became one of the more memorably battles of World War Two. The United States attacked so then the Japanese wouldn't have as much for supplies as they had used to. This ended up killing all of the Japanese soldiers that were on the island.

    This battle was the last battle on the Pacific side. When the Allied Forces had first arrived, the island had looked deserted.     The dropping of the atomic bombs had occured in both Nagasaki and Hiroshima in Japan. This was in a way a do or die type of thing for the US. What I mean by that is that if Japan did not surrender affter that, then they probably would not know what else to do. The US dropped the bombs because they wanted to end the war between them and the Japanese. This caused the Japanese to end up surrendering.

    VJ Day or also known as Victory Over Japan Day was a very historic day for the United States. This was an important day because this was the day that the JApanese had finally surrendered. They had surrendered in person on on the US carriers that was in the sea. This then caused the United States to be out of any kind of war after that until the Cold War. This happened because Japna did not want to get bpombed again with an atomic bomb.
