The invasions significance is that for the rest of europe, that was Germanys last straw. It sent the world into world war ll. The outcome was that Poland was defeated and this invasion caused World War ll.

    The Battle of Stalingrad was very important because it was a turning point for russia. Hitler wanted Stalingrad because it was a very important city to Russia. Stalingrad was a manufactoring city and also had great significance due to its name. Russian and German armies fought back and forth and finaly the Russians came out victorious. This changed them and turned the momentum their way for the war.

    Battle on the eastern front. This was one of the greatest armed battles ever. It was also a battle that was caused by Stalingrad. This was Germany's last large offensive push in russia. The Germans made an advance, but russia quickly fought back and won. This was the true turning point and from this point on Russia fought stronger and herder against Germany.

This order created many casualties because instead of having a carefully planned strategy, Russia just rushed to Berlin. The significance of this was huge. This marked the near end of the war and gave the allies control of Germany.

    Hiroshima/ Nagasaki

    America dropping the first atomic bombs on Japan was a huge moment in WWII. The U.S. had two options, either invade Japan using conventional bombing techniques or to use the two atomic bombs. Fearing a high amount of casualties they decided to use the bombs. The outcome was Japans unconditional surrender on August 15. This ultimatley ended WWII entirely. The U.S. was officialy out of the war and this also gave America some dominance post war.
