Once Hitler was named chancellor of Germany, the holocaust began. Hitler's ideas spread, which as a result, led to the beginning of the Holocaust, as it is now known. If you're not familiar with the Holocaust, it first began as a operation where war criminals would be killed. This ended up developing into a new operation where many jews would be taken to concentration camps and essentially tortured. -

The Battle of Britain was a campaign formed by the military that was formed of only aircraft. The Battle began because Germany tried to invade Britain through the air, but Britain was ready and fought back with all they could. The attacks were mainly performed at night, though a good amount was also in the morning. -
The Invasion of the Soviet Union was performed by Germany. This invasion directly broke a pact that was to prevent aggression between Germany and the Soviets. These two major powers caused calamity and made many people lose their lives. -
The bombing of Pearl Harbor was performed by the Japanese air force. The attack was a surprise to all of the U.S. because the U.S. and Japan had recently made peace. Japan broke that peace however and bombed the largest naval base that the U.S. had at the time. This caused the United States to be involved in the war and be on the Allies side.
