    Why- the japanese saw them as unworthy of life and didnt see Chinese as humans but as beasts.
    Effects: took decades to restore nanking and to rebuild it. Still conflicts today about the event that thad happened

    What happened: this was to test it out before they fully put Blitzkreig into effect by using it into the invasions into Belgium.
    Why it happened: it was used to create disorganization among enemy forces

    Fall of Paris
    what happened: Bascially all that happened was the german troops entering into Paris and taking over. By taking over I mean the german Gestapo aressted people and interrogated people. All in all the Parisians were trapped, the ones who didnt flee.
    Why? : Bascially the British was wanting to hold off war for as long as possible and let Hitler walk in and take over.
    Effects: Roosevelt froze the American assests of the Axis power from Italy and Germany
