    Mussolini became a leader in 1919. He promised to end all chaos. In 1922 the facists rebelled against the government for a change. Mussolini and his organized supporters caused terror with intense nationalism.

    Japan seized Manchuria. In 1937 the majority of eastern China was taken over by Japanese armies.Japan withdrew from the league of nations and also wanted an empire.

    Hitler created a union of Austria and Germany.His union went against the treaty of Versailles, however any austians who opposed were quickley shushed. The western democries didn't do anything about his Anschluss. Hitler became the new ruler of Austria.

    British and French leaders chose to stay at a state of peace. Hitler persuaded the countires to believe he would not expand his territory any further. They convinced the Czechs to give up against the Sudetenland for Hitler.

    At the Battle of France, the French and British were greatly defeated by the British. At the port of Dunkirk in France, an enormous amount of French and Britsh armies were trapped. They were able to resue about 340,000 men over sea from the battle. Resucing this large of an amount of people was a mircale becasue they intially believed they would only be able to save about 30,000.

    Germany had bombed France for many days in a row. The people of Britain untied and forced the Germany to defeat and stop trying to take over Britain. They were no longer able to invade England.

    Hitler forced the french to sign that they had surrendered. Germany controlled Northern France and set up a "puppet state" in Southern France. Italy had also declared war on France and they were attacked in the Southern part of France. They had fallen, given up, and surrendered themselves to the Germans.

    This was the "deliberate murder, of all European Jews. The Nazis killed millions of people by sending them to special camps Hitler set up all across Europe. This soon became known as the holocaust when Nazis had murded around six million Jews.

    General Tojo attacked the American fleet at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. They suprised the Americans and destroyed aircraft and ships and killed thousands. Japan later declared war on the United States. This was the resaon America entered WWII.

    This battle took place in Egypt between Axis forces. Germany and Italy fought against Britain. The first battle was a stalemate and then a second battle of the same forces began. The second battle ended the axis threat to Egypt.

    The U.S. defended Midway against their enemy Japan. The Americans destroyed Japnan's naval strength in the Pacific Ocean. Japan had orginally planned to capture and take over Midway but the U.S. had suprised them by sinking thir ships and stopping them from doing so.

    Germans surrounded Russian cities desiring to capture Stailn's city. The Russians struggled but strongly defended their city and continuously fought with the Germans. The Germans finally surrendered and lost around 300,000 soliders from the battle.

    British and American armies attacked Italy in Sicily and defeated their forces their. Italins overthrew Mussolini and agreed to make peace. Hitler was weakened my the invasion becasue he was forced to fight in another territory when Germany resisted to the Allies.

    Japan battled in the isalnds of Iwo Jima and Okinawa against the United States. They fought to death and purposely committed suicide by crashing planes into American warships. President Harry Truman of the U.S. decided to use an atomic bomb against Japan to destroy their efforts. It ended up killing more than 70,000 people.

    The allied invasion of France during WWII. American, British, and other allied troops invaded France. This ultimatly ended WWII and the Nazi Germany.

    The Allies battled against Germany in a massive attack that took a month without an end result. Mussolini was captured in Italy. Hitler committed suicide and later Germany surrendered.

    An international organization called the "United Nations" was created by the allies. 50 nations met in San Francisco to ensure peace, The UN also covered many problems and provided help orginizations across the worls for millions of people.

    Soviet and British forces fought to take the British Capital. Britain also tried to stop Germany by bombing them. Hitler later committed suicide and Germany no longer needed to be stopped.

    Allies were determined to defeat Japan as war was taking place in Europe. Most of Japan's navy/airforce were destroyed in these aggressive battles. It took a long time for Japan to surrender due to their large army.

    Preident Harry Truman of the U.S. decided to use the first atomic bomb against Japan in the city of Hiroshima. The bomb destroyed a total of four square miles and completely wiped out Japan by killing over 70,000 people. Their was also radioactive chemicals present therefore causing a deadly after math. Many more people died from sicknesses caused my radiation.
