Within the first four months of 1942, Germans sank 87 ships at the Atlantic shore. Early 1943 convoys we're followed by airplanes and destroyers(ships) that helped detect German u-boats which lead to the Allies destroying the u-boats quickly. The outcome was an Allie victory.

There were nightly bombings over the city of Stalingrad. In September the Germans controlled 9/10s of the city. Soviet army closed in around Stalingrad trapping in the Germans leading to the Germans surrendering.

The Allies attacked Germans in Normandy, there was multiple air and sea bombings. General Eisenhower was chosen to command the invasion.

Germans broke through American defense line. A month long battle. When the battle was over, nothing for the Germans changed other than losing troops, weapons, etc. Germans had retreated.

The war in Europe ended. The allies celebrated V-E Day which stands for Victory in Europe Day.
