    Invasion of Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg
    Hitler or, Germany had offered a deal to British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain but he did not accept the deal. In other words, he resigned. Germany ends up invading the countries Belgium, Holland, and Luxembourg. There was an agreement in the government and Winston Churchill replaced British Prime Minister. He tries to involve the U.S to see if they can help out, he talks to U.S president Franklin Roosevelt.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Pearl Harbor
    Japanese warplanes were launched causing a huge destruction. The warplanes attack the American Pacific Fleet that was located in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The destruction was so big that eight battleships and other four naval vessels were damaged or sunk. 164 American aircraft's were on the ground destroyed.

    Battle of Midway
    June 4-7,1942 the battle of Midway happened. It was unlikely for the Japanese to lose battles but when they went against the U.S, hings began to look bad for them. The Japanese hoped to finish destroying the pacific fleet, takeover Hawaii, and then their people hostage to force the U.S to appeal for peace. American cryptographers had figured out the plans of the Japanese. The U.S navy was waiting to attack. even with the loses the Americans had, they defeated the Japanese.

    U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt signs Executive Order. The Executive Order authorizes the War Department to appoint Military areas. If anyone was afraid or felt as if they were in danger, they were excluded. There was a specific target to all of this which was towards the Japanese-Americans. They were going to be forced from their houses to move inland.

    U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt signs Executive Order 9066 that authorizes the war department to identify and "military areas". Anyone who felt afraid or as if they were in danger were excluded. There was a specific target which was towards the Japanese-Americans who lived along the West Coast. They were going to be forced from their houses and told to move inland.

    Battle of Bismarck
    This battle of Bismarck is fought for control of New Guinea in the year of 1943. Japanese forces re-enforce their troops by submarine due to the American victories. The Japanese used this strategies of submarines to prevent damaged, or destroyed, warships, etc. The battle of Bismarck leads to removing a threat to General Douglas MacArthur's invasion plans.

    Saipan
    after four weeks of fighting and many dead or wounded, Saipan is declared secured. 4,000 Japanese woman and children are terrified and leave to the island's northern tip, Marpi point. the government had claimed that it was their "duty" to kill themselves or each other rather than getting killed by the Americans. During this period many had been killed by Japanese troops or decided to commit suicide.

    Battle of Bulge Starts
    The battle of Bulge begins and guns open up and are ready to fire. A few moments later the enemy they are fighting against comes out and begins to attack. Taking advantage of the forest setting and the fog, they hide. Twenty German soldiers move forward with, a quarter of a million men. 600 Tanks are behind them ready to destroy. More than 10,000 men surrender due to being out of bullets and shell. They were unable to fight back.

    Atomic Bombs Dropped
    Through the bomb-bay doors of the Enola Gay, the first atomic bombs are dropped above the city Hiroshima and explodes. One single bomb had completed destroyed 40,000 died. There were still many more who during a few day died due to burn or radiation by the bomb. Also, hundreds of people had suffered from radiation poising throughout the few years that have gone by. You'd expect that through all the devastation, the Japanese would accept the surrender terms, but even then. they didn't.
  • January 30, 1945

    The allies had regained all the ground that they had lost six weeks after the German offensive had began in Ardennes. More than a million men had been apart of this war, this battle was considered to be the biggest war on the western Front. 19,000 Americans died, 60,000 had be wounded, captured, or pronounced as "missing". All this lead to Hitler losing 100,000 men and all his tanks including aircraft, due to him losing his enormous gamble.
