The Japanese Army murdered 300,000 civilians and soldiers in the city of Nanking in 6 weeks. This was because China was very resistant with starting a battle so they let it go all the way to the fall and Japan was angry and they wanted revenge since China was messing with their time table. Japanese soldiers marched toward Nanking after, the city was very poorly led so it was very easy for Japan to start another battle after since they were strongly built -
