Germany invasion of Poland
On September 1, 1939 Germany invaded Warsaw, Poland with the signed document of the nonaggression pact from the Soviet Union and conquered Warsaw, Poland on September 27, 1939. This event was about an operation Germany used to invade the Soviet Union on June 22, 1941. Operation Gomorrah
In July 24, 1941 The United States and Britain attack Hamburg, Germany. America bombed by day and Britain bombed by night. This is what Britain called operation Gomorrah. At the end of bombing of the United States and Britain, they killed 30,000 German civilians and 280,000 building, industries, and munitions plants in Germany. Battle of the Bulge
On December 16, 1944 Germany’s had one last chance to push back on the Britain and America army. Germany sent an offensive attack on the U.S and Britain army in Ardennes forest, Belgium. Germany succeeded to break through the U.S and Britain military line and made a bulge, but the U.S and Britain army was able to quickly get reinforcement and stop Germany’s attack. After awhile the U.S and Britain army pushed back on the German army and advanced to the next defense line. -
Operation Thunderclap
This event was the bombing of Dresden in February 14, 1945 from the American and Britain army. When the American and Britain army launched the bombing attack on Dresden, Germany, there were more than 650,000 in Dresden.
