Hitler does his first attack since coming to power in germany and won against Poland. This sets off war in europe but germany wasn't the only ones to invade poland the Soviet Union did as well and to Baltic Nations which are located in northern Europe. Well these two obviously are part of Europe.

It was a battle in the pacific with the US against the Jaoanese. The japanese split up so they won't go down as fast but was later tracked down.The Japanese did lose because the US had aircrafts looking for them and they were found. All the japanese ships were sunk except for one that was found but killed a couple planes but a new group of planes came back for blood and of course the Japanese lost. This victory was

This was the day that the battle of Iwo Jima a bloody battle that killed both the Americans and Japanese. This battle came to a stop on March 26, 1945 with the Americans winning capturing Iwo Jima. There was 26,000 american casualties and 22,000 Japanese that were defending.
