    Bell Aircraft was created in 1935. Its first military contract was made in 1937. This contract allowed Bell Aircraft to make more money because the military would then buy a lot of planes. Thisn would be beneficial by letting the US buy planes for a discount for the war.

    Carl Vinson was a democrat represenatative from georgia from 1914 to 1965. He was most known for his devotation to the Marines and the Navy. He passed multiple acts while in office. One of them is the Naval Act of 1938. This would benefit the allied powers by having a strong navy and marine corps.

The Axis Powers were Germany, Italy, Soviet Union, and Japan.

    The Savannah Shipyard made a contarct with the Souteastern Shipbuilding Corporation. The were supposed to make 36 ships. Intead, they ended up building 88 ships. This helped the allied powers by being able to ship more goods and be able to out number enemy ships.

It took 16,000 workers to accomplish this task. This would be helpful because it allowed the allis to recieve a lot of aid, military advantages, and it put americans to work.

    On August 9, 1945 the United States dropped an atomic bomb called Fat Man on Nagasaki. THis was 3 days after the bombing of Hiroshima. The deathes from the bomb at Nagasaki were between 39,000 and 80,000 people.
