Joseph Stalin led the Soviet Union to become a major powerhouse. He was tyrrant and dictator. He meet with Rooseveltt and Churchill to discuss post-war aginst Japan. American bombs were dropped first and Jaapan was forced to surrender, deafeting Stalin's plans to attack. He surely turned the Soviet Union into a country of strength and power. He was extremly vicious and would do nything to gain power. He was a man who did terrible, but great things.

THe Holocaust was a horrific tragidy. All Jews in Germany and countriesthat HItler invaded. were forced into concentration camps. They were forced to dig there own graves. Jews were almost all killed. Many had to go into hidding.

Prime Minister Winston Churchill led Great Britan from the edge of defeat, to victory. He soon relized that Hitler was a threat when he started to gain controll in the neighboring countries. He meett with Allied leaders, Roosevelt and Stalin to discuss battle strtegy. He gained controlkl of many party's and was a strong influence in Britan.

Japan invades Pearl Harbor. The fleet that was in the port at the time got bombed. American ships were sunk. Very few ships did not sink. The ships that did not sink were heavly damaged.

D-Day was an extrodinary time for the Allies. It was a huge victory. They succeded in pushing German soldiers out of France. This truly was a great victory for the Allied Powers and the turning point in WW2.

At Franklin Roosevelts death, Harry S. Truman was elected to office. He was presidant during the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. When he found out about the bombs he said "I felt like the moon, the stars, and all the planets had fallen on me".
