The war time productions board was created to keep prices of low low due to rationing, which also became a big deal due to the United states still being in the depression and having little food already.

    A day that will live in infamy! Japenese fighter plane pilots attacked pearl harbor and destroyed most of the U.S navy and air force utilities and led to the U.S declaring war on Japan. FDRs famous speech on December 8th 1941, was when he addressed the nation and declared that that date will live in infamy and that the U.S is going to war with Japan and the Axis powers.

    FDR signs the executive order 9066 and creates internment camps for those americans who are from the axis power countries. The Japenese Americans were target the most due to Pearl Harbor and the Beleive that there are Japenese spies in the U.S to relay national intellegance back to Japan, which would lead to the destruction of U.S goods and ships by The Japenese at Pearl Harbor. The German and Italian Americans were not affected as much as the Japenese.

    MidWay took place six months after the japanese attacks on pearl harbor, the U.S beat Japan in the paciffic after they decoded messages and were able to prevent Japan from invading and controlling near by countries in the paciffic ocean. This battle defeated Japans navy and was a crucial win for the allied powers to become an offensive threat.

    American, British, and Canadian troops stormed a 50 mile long stretch of Frances coast which was heqavily guarded. The D-Day invasion was the largest water military assults. The U.S created a large scale deception campaign to make Germany thinks that they would attack some where else. The Allied powers liberated France by August 1944 and D-Day was called the begining of the end of the war in Europe.
