Holocaust
The holocaust was a Genocide against any "undesirable" human beings. The Germans killed approximately 17 million people. This event was so important because so many people died and it affected people back then very badly. -
Hitler coming to power
Adolf Hitler was a very powerful man, powerful enough to convince all of Germany that he would give them a better life and a new glorious Germany. The people that struggled and lived bad lives thought they have found their savior for their nation. In my opinion if I were in the Germans position I probably would of done the same thing because they were not in a good state at that moment. So they hooked onto any hope they could find. -
France signs armistice with Germany
The french signed a armistice with Germany which took France out of the war and under German control. This was a very clever move from Hitler. Calling the war even and then taking over France while there guard is down. -
Pearl Harbor
The attack on Pearl Harbor was a deadly event. 2403 people died and 1178 were wounded as the outcome. It was a surprise military attack from the Japanese on the United States naval base. To me this was a very important even because it was a such a big event that lead to so much. -
The Battle of Midway
The Battle of Midway was a decisive naval battle in the pacific theater after Japans attack on Pearl Harbor. It was so important because it was one of the biggest battles of the pacific. -
D-day
Britain, America, Canada, and France attacked the Germans on the coast of Normandy, France. They sent out fake solders and vehicles to try and catch the Germans off guard. The allied powers took over and took the victory that was considered "The turning point" of World War 2. In my opinion they were very smart about how they took and and over time, they came out on top. -

The Battle of the Bulge was the last major German offensive campaign on the Western Front during world War 2. This is important because it was the time where Germany realized they could not win. -
Atomic Bomb
During the ending of World War 2, the United States detonated two nuclear weapons over Japanese cities. The explosion killed 120,000 people, wiping out 90% of the city. This is so important because this event is what ended the beef between Japan an the U.S.
