The German second army crossed the frontier in neutral belgium to attack France from the north. Von bulows army which had 320,000 men wanted to seize the city of Liege which is the gateway to Belgium. The germans attacked at night on August 5th which was a heavy loss and resulted in little progress. The german army with help forced the Beligan army back to Antwerp, then captured Brussels in the 20th of August.

Cavolry Corps under General Georg von de marwitz was sent across the Meuse River North of Leige. Early morning on the 12th of August the German cavalry made it's way to Haelen. The Germans launch a attack aganist Belgian troops defending the bridge. Lasting from 8 am to 6pm, frustrated Marwitz withdrew.

Aitken commands his troops to Tanga but german forces are their in their way. Which broke them up and then a swarm of angry bees started attacking them so the germans used this to their advantage.They had so much troops then the Germans but the general ordered a retreat due to conditions

The attack was around the town of Bolimov that was west of Warshaw. German army General August Von Mackensen against Russin army General Smirnov. First battle the Germans used posion gas but back fired and no side actually won both of sides suffered heavy loss.

The battle was known because 58,000 men died on the first day of the battle. This plan was annouced late in 1915 and was intended as a joint British-France attack. The attack begun on August 1st 1916 to divert German resources from Verdun. The weather their was poor and snowed alot and kept losing men on the trip.

The Austro Hungarian planned to raid the place but sufferred heavy damage from the enemy ships forcing them to retreat.

Britsh premier orders David Llyold George to remove any ottoman presence up by the Euphrates and Tigirs river. An Angelo Indian force led by Sir Alexander Cobbe left to baghad. But the ottoman army were their waiting for them. Seeing this as a threat the British withdrew to north to Sharqat and where cobbe then attacked them. The ottoman army then surrendered.
