Went to Maximilian school at Munich until 1920 where he later continued to the University of Munich to study physics under Sommerfeld, Rosenthal, Pringsheim, and Wein.
-
Went to Gottingen to study physics under Max Born, Franck, and Hilbert.
-
At the age of 23, published his theory of quantum mechanics. HIs theory was based on what can be observed on the radiation emitted by the atom. That we cannot always assign an electron a position in space at a given time. Mechanical quantities such as position, velocity, et. should be represented not by ordinary numbers but instead by matrices.
