On September 1, 1939 Poland was invaded by Germany. After weeks of invasion Poland is finally defeated. It was stated that from Germany to Purissa about 2,000 tanks and 1,000 planes had broke through the defense of Poland. Finally after all the boming and the huge attack Poland surrendered on September 27, 1939. -
Germany invades France
Germany had attacked France on May 10, 1940. The britain and the French thought that the Germans would attack through central Belgium, but thay had attacked through Ardennes Forest in southeastern Belgium. On June 2, 1941 Germany invaded the Soviet Union which had also been in the biggest German military operation in World War 2. Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor
On December 7, 1941 Japan released a suprise air attack on the U.S. Naval Base at Pear Herbor in Hawaii. After two hours of bombing more than2,400 Americans were dead, 21 ships were either sunk or damaged, and about 188 U.S. aircraft ships were destroyed. The attack on Pearl Harbor was so horrible that the U.S. didn't follow the policy of isolationism and declared war on Japan the following day, which had oficially brought the U.S. into World War 2. -

It was stated that the Battle of Guadalcanal was the first major offensive and decisive victory for the allies in the Pacific. Scince the Japanese troops were in the Solomon Island the U.S. marines set a suprise attack and took control of an air base under construction. Japan and the U.S. had been battling for about a year until Japan had suffered to much and finally removed themselves form Guadalcanalby February 1943. -
D-Day
Opertion overload (which was given to the up coming Aliied invasion of France) began on D-Day. On D-Day 156,000 American, British and Canadian forces had landed on beaches on the coast of France's Region. This invasion was one of the largest military assults in history. -

After the allies attempted to cross the borders of Germany in 1944 the Germans decided to try one last time to reverse their wealth. They created an operation called "Watch on the Rhine" whih was intended to seperate the British and US forces in France. -
