German Blitzkreig
German tried the Blitzkreig in Poland before employing more invasions. Germany wanted to build its empire and felt that other European powers were restricting them. It made smaller army and made it where they could atttack quicker. -
Germany's Inasion on Poland
Britian and France stood by Poland's border which declared wa on Germany. Soviet Union invaded Poland. Hitler wanted to defend Germany in Poland to teach Chamberlain a lessin to overturn the Treaty of Versailles. Germany took pver Poland. Poland was defeated and broen up. -
Pearl Harbor
Japanese planes attacked the U.S naval base at Pearl Harbor. Intended to neutralize the U.s and etc. Briught sought access to natural resourses such as oil aand rubber. The bomb killed over 2300 Americans and destroyed tge American Battleship USS. -
D-day
It was divided into five sections. Hitler commanded German forces of devoloping fortifications along Alantic wall. There were over ten thousand men lost and four thousand four hundred fourteen killed. -
Dropping the Aromic Bombs
Enola Jay (American bomber) dropped five ton bomb on Japan. It was set by President Truman to coincide completion. Most died. -
Battle of Bulge
German campaign launched regiins at Wallon in France, Belgium on the western front towards ww2 end in Europe. Also attempted to push allied front line west from northern France. Germany loses greater than they can take. -
Battle of Iwo Jima
US Marines landed on a captured island of Iwo Jima from Japanese. They showed how far Japanese would defend their country. The allies plans were written on the island to take over Japanese. -
Battle of Okinawa
The largest amphibous landing on the pacifc theater of WW2. Okinawa was the final action before the atomic bomb. There was over a hundred thousand Japanese casualties and over fifty thousansd allies. -
VE Day
Marked formal acceptance by allies of Ww2. Its the acceptance by allies. The allies accepted of Nazi Germany unconditional surrender. -
VJ Day
It's Japan's victory day. Japan's surrender took place aboard the USS Misouri. Celebration of their victory.
