Finally the war ended in July 1953 in all 5 million soldiers and civilians lost their lives during the war.

There hope was that the exile force would serve as a rallying point for the Cuban citizen. The plan immediately fell apart because unexpectedly rapid counterattacks from Castro's military. it sanks almost all there exile supply ships and so the invasion never happend over 100 of the attacker were killed and 1,100 were captured.
