    Slave trading was a huge economic reliance within the colonies especially in te south. When slavery was to be declared abolished, every state south of Pennsylvania refused. Slave trade was to profitable for them to give up so easily.

    This battle helped lead the Americans to victory due to the supplies it provided. Most of the american army were farmers and people with little weaponry. This battle gave them supplies to allow them to gain weaponry and get back at the British even more.

    King George formally declared the colonies rebelling. This was initially the initiator for the revolutionary war.The Americans had enough of what they thought the unfair British were being. The British also wanted to gain control of their colony once again by crushing them.
