He rooms with jesse owens and notices that germany is very nationalistic. He places 7th in the final but puts up the fastest last lap of 56 seconds, earning him a meeting with hitler. He meets payton jordan and jimmie sasaki. He then sets the ncaa record of 4:08.3 with bleeding shins because of the other runners. Olympics gets cancelled and louis is crushed.
