    This was issued by king george III after the french/indian war. Thsi became a law at that time. This was the first of parliments laws.

    Parliment passed this law. This act put a tax on sugar, molasses, and other products shipped to the colonies. It also called for strict enforcment of the act and harsh punishment of smugglers. -the text book-

    British soldiers were sent into Lexington to capture Samuel Adams and then John Hancock. After that the soliers were suposed go to concord and take gun powder. This was the first battle of the Revolutionary War.
