  • Pearl Harbors

    Due to the American's naivity towards the unknown images on their radar, they were not ready for the attack by the Japanese. Japanese planes dropped bombs on the harbor and destroyed 1 battleship, damaged other ships and planes, and killed many American soldiers.
  • Executive Order 9066

    President Roosevelt authorized the internment of thousands of citizens and residential aliens of Japanese descent.
  • Doolittle Raids

    James H. Doolittle led an aerial assault on Japan in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor
  • Battles of Monte Cassino

    A series of 4 battles fought by the Allies against Germany and Italy. The Allies suffered around 55,000 and Germans had over 20,000.
  • Battles of Monte Cassino ends

    The battles ended.
  • The Battle of Normandy: D-Day

    The Allied nations launched an attack called the Operation Overlord. this operation was to take over German territories.
  • V-E Day

    The day when the Allies accepted the surrender of Nazi Germany and Hitler's 3rd reich.
  • Hiroshima and Nagasaki

    The Allies conducted two atomic bombs against Japanese cities Nagasaki and Hiroshima. the bombs destroyed many Japanese cities. 6 days after the bombings, the Japanese surrendered.
  • V-J Day

    The day which effectively ended the World War with Japan's surrender.
