    The Holocaust

    The holocaust was set into most once Hitler was appointed to the role of chancellor of Germany. This caused Hitler's views to get out, inevitably starting what we now call the Holocaust. If you are unsure what the Holocaust is, it was a "program" made by the nazis, mainly Hitler, where people would be taken prisoner and usually killed. This ended up evolving to where Jews would be the the ones being killed.

    Invasion of Poland

    Germany invaded Poland in 1939, with a very large military power. Propaganda began to spread in Germany that Poland was persecuting German ethnic groups and ended up with Poland's invasion. This ended up kickstarting a new world war because France and Britain joined in to defend Poland from the wrath of germany,=.

    Battle Of Britain

    The battle of britain was a military campaign during WW2. The royal air force and the Fleet Air Arm of the royal navy defended the UK form attack from Germany's air force. It was a major campaign that was fought by only airforces. The attacks were not very long but in short bursts of all out attacks.

    Codenamed: Operation Barbarossa, The Nazi's broke a nonaggression pact that was previously signed by both countries. This invasion was one of the biggest military operations that Germany made and the main purpose was to take over western areas of the Soviet union for richer lands.
  • Bombing of Pearl Harbor

    Bombing of Pearl Harbor

    On December 7th of 1941, a surprise attack was launched on the U.S. Naval base, Pearl harbor. The attack occurred early in the morning so that few fighters would be awake, or prepared for an attack. That morning hundreds of Japanese fighter jets swarmed in the sky and began attacking every ship that was in sight. More that 2,400 americans died in the attack, 1000 were wounded.
