Cars were getting better and better. Cars around this time started to become smoother to take a more aerodynamic shape. The 1930 Cadillac 16 (produced between 1930 and 1937) was the first car to offer sixteen-cylinder engine. -
There was a massive decrease in cars because of World War 2. In fact, car manufacturing was halted from February 1942 to October 1942. But despite that, some improvements were made. The 1940s saw the introduction of automatic transmissions, power steering, and improved suspension systems. 1940s cars had more of a massive and broader look. -
In the 1950s, many innovations were either invented or improved sufficiently to allow for mass production during the decade, example: air conditioning, automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, seat belts and arguably the most influential change in automotive history, the overhead-valve V8 engine. -
Cars with good performances were becoming more accessible to everyone. Not only that, in the 1960s, cars met a load of safety upgrades!

Thanks to advancements in technology cars gained more safety features. For example, collision warnings and automatic emergency braking, were only things that can happen with our technology. -
Cars are the best that they could be now. Thanks to advancements in technology, we have access to as the most safety features we had ever had!
