    Charles Babbage created the first computer. The word "computer" was first recorded in 1613. And it was originally used to describe a human who performed calculations. The definition of the computer remained the same until the end of the 19th century, when the industrial revolution gave rise to machines whose main purpose was calculation.

    Samuel Morse invented the first telegraph, was an inventor and physicist. Then it took another six years to standardize a code to be able to communicate through telegraph cables.
