  • Japanese Invasion of China (1937)

    During 1937, Japan controlled a large area in eastern japan. They used it to fight western powers. When the war ended Japan lost control of that area.
  • German Blitzkrieg

    The German Blitzkrieg was a German tactic that had the armies rush into different countries wiping them out before they are able to fight back. This allowed Germany to almost win.
  • Germany's Invasion of Poland

    When Germany invaded Poland they were able to win in weeks. When the German-Soviet Pact was created it allowed the attack which had started World War 2.
  • Fall of Paris

    he Battle of France, also known as the Fall of France, was the German invasion of France and the Low Countries during the Second World War.
  • Operation Barbossa

    Germany gathered a giant army of troops that was at its peek of fighting ability. When this siege ended, Germany lost, making it fight on 2 fronts.
  • Pearl Harbor

    Bombers went over Pearl Harbor, Hawaii bombing it killing thousands. This influenced the United States into the war.

    It was a meeting held of Nazi senior officials.
  • Battle of Stalingrad

    The Battle of Stalingrad was a major battle on the Eastern Front of World War II in which Nazi Germany and its allies fought the Soviet Union for control of the city of Stalingrad in Southern Russia, on the eastern boundary of Europe.
  • Battle of Midway

    The Battle of Midway was a decisive naval battle in the Pacific Theater of World War II. Between 4 and 7 June 1942, only six months after Japan's attack on Pearl Harbor.
  • Operation Gomorrah

    This was a calculated bombing run with British bombing during the night and U.S bombing during the day. The bombings where so devastating that it scarred Hitler. He didn't even want to visit the site.

    Soviet Soldiers were the first to liberate concentration camps. They had found hundreds of sick and exhausted prisoners in the Auschwitz camp.

    Germany led a surprise attack to split off the allies and to surround them. It neutralized Germany's counter offensive.

    The Battle of Iwo Jima was a major battle in which the U.S. Marines landed on and eventually captured the island of Iwo Jima from the Japanese Imperial Army during World War II.

    codenamed Operation Iceberg, was a series of battles fought in the Japanese Ryukyu Islands, centered on the island of Okinawa, and included the largest amphibious assault in the Pacific War during World War II.
