    Birth
    Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Thomas Kuhn was a bright young man who found a grand fascination in the subjects of mathematics, physics, and the history of sciences. Kuhn grew up to shake the scientific community by challenging Karl Poppers ideals of questioning everything, by introducing(properly) to the world, The Paradigm Shift.

    Harvard College

    In Harvard College 1943,Thomas Kuhn obtained is bachelors degree in physics. He then continued to study physics and by 1946 gaining a masters degree in physics, then in 1949 a doctorate in physics. After obtaining the degrees, Kuhn stayed at Harvard until 1956, as a humanities and general education professor to undergraduates. During his time Kuhn also really focused on the history of sciences, especially that of Aristotle.

    The Structure of Scientific Revolutions
    In 1956, Kuhn moved to from Massachusetts to California and in 1961 he took a position for a full professor at the University of Berkley. There he taught 'history of sciences'. A year later, still at Berkley, Kuhn published one of his most influential books, titled "The Structure of Scientific Revolutions". In his works he described his the key concepts inside a scientific field such as, a paradigm shift, normal science, and the state of a crisis
  • Princeton University

    Princeton University
    After Thomas Kuhn left Berkeley, his next destination was Princeton University in New Jersey. During his time in Princeton, in 1964, he took a professor position to teach philosophy and history of science. He later became the president of the History and Science Society. In this position he wrote many essay and books the paradigm. He also attended a few debates against Feyerabend and Lakatos.

    Death
    After Princeton University, Kuhn went for another professor role at MIT. Teaching the same subjects that he had previously taught, such as history and philosophy of science. This time he also intrigued about evolution and developmental psychology. He was also titled the "Laurence S. Rockefeller Professor of Philosophy" at MIT. Kuhn stayed at MIT till 1991. Was diagnosed three years later with Lung Cancer then died at 1996.
