This discussion comes to Peter's attention (George's son), Peter starts to argue with George aboyut turning it off and Peter is strongly against it.

George speaks to the psychologist one more time and he is finally convinced to turn it off. Peter is furious and continues to argue.

Lydia feels bad for the kids and shne convinces George to turn the Veldt back on for just a little while longer. Geroge isn't to happy about the desicion but he does it for his wife.

The kids are still angry at their parents so while the veldt is still on the kids imagine lions eating their parents and the parents were killed.
