    Montgomery Bus Boycott
    This event took place on the evening of December1, 1955. This took place in Montgomery, Alabama. The method for this event was a non violent protest and the leaders were Rosa Parks, Martin Luther King Jr, and some African Americans. The results ended up being that Montgomery bus segregation law was unconstitutional.

    This event took place on September 4, 1957 in Little Rock, Arkansas. This event had two MAIN leaders but there was alot of them, but the two main ones were the following: Dwight D. Eisenhower, and Elizabeth Eckford. The method of this was inforcing integration and the results were that Central High School was integrated.

    This event happened in Greensboro, North Carolina on Febuary 1, 1960. The leaders were African American males who sat in the white section of a resturant because they wanted to get a point across that white and black men should be able to sit at the same table and eat. Unfortunatally they were arrested for the method of Civil Disobedience. And the results were that they were arrested for them sitting in the white area.

    This event was a letter from Martin Luther King Jr. while he was in jail. It took place on April16, 1963 in Birmingham City Jail. The method for this was a non-violent communication and the leader was Martin Luther King Jr. The result for this event was that the letter was sent to African Americans who waited for equal rights.

    This event took place in Washington, D.C. in July of 1964. The method of voting was voted on by Congress and the leaders of this was Lydon Johnson and of course, Congress. The results of this event prohibited ANY discrimination of African Americans.
  • Wilmington Riots

    Wilmington Riots
    This event took place in Wilmington, North Carolina in 1968. The method of this event was a violent protest and the leaders of the protest were racist people, with a little help from the police trying to stop it. The results from the riot was that nine people died and five were wounded.
