    Bobby went blind after a month from his visit with his doctor ,and went completly blind while riding his bike.Now that Bobby was blind his optomism surley had stretched to almost the limit,Bobby declared "That the glass was not half empty or half full ...it was just full."Which meant Bobby would not give up and when he went to laser surgery for his eyes he now only had 20/1200 vision in one eye and none in the rest ,but then a friend said he could take up skiing with a guide and Bobby took it.

    bobby had his second double transplant and this time nothing happened to them so far. when he and his girlfriend heard the good news Bobby declared"it was like winning the lottery twice".

    Bobby went to this racing event the Nissan XTERRA, that even some news channels were wathching. He was about to do the bike triathlon! when he completed ths race it was all over the news tha a guy named Bobby Mcmullen a blind bike racer had just completed a triathlon. In sports illustrated they called him"A blind ambious person with a winning attitude."Other news channels and magazines like CBS ,Decline magazine,LA times.com and many others all noted that he was a optomistic man.

    In augest of 2010 Bobby raced the citezens coure at a MTB event where he also spoke a speach. He participated in this event to help show people that disabled people can still make good athletes.
