    This was the first written constitiution in America. Assembled reps to make the law and had the popular election of judges and government.

    Established basics of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights.
  • Glorious Revolution

    Parliament revokes King James the 3 and replaces him with her daughter Mary and husband William.
  • English bill of rights

    Restricted monarch's power and garenteed free elections to Parlament. Had a right for a fair trial and eliminated cruel and unusual punishments.

    Accepted the common law, made sure no ruler was to powerfull, believed people should have basic rights and to be protected and that the common people should have a voice in the gov.

    Believed people are born equally and in depedance. He also believed people are born with natural right to live and liberty that the gov can't take away.
