Chapter 1
Jared Grace had a brother and a sister Mallory and Simon.They moved in into this really old house with several chimneys. But none of them are happy to move in this house.Then Jared heard something inside the walls of the house which the sound of it dessapered a while later. -
Chapter 2
Jared and simon had to share room.This night Jared could'nt get to sleep because of the noise. Jared's sister came because she could'nt get to sleep either. So they eventually decided to catch the thing that was making noises in the wall.Mallory took a broome stick and knocked open the wall.Inside the wall they found a bold doll,dead cockroaches,melted soldiers and other creepy stuff.Then they dicovered a dumbwaiter jared went in. At the other end of the dumbwaiter he discovered a room. -
Chapter 3
The room was a small library with a desk in the middle.On the desk there were really weird fantasy books. In the middle of the books there was this note.This note didnt look old at all but who could have written it since this house had been dessert for a long time. Jared herd his mum calling, she had came back.. And she was looking for him. A while later they secretely came and got him back down. -
Chapter 4
Jared woke up from his sisters screams. He hurried to her room. Someone had tied his sisters hair to her bed and she had bruises all over her arms. Jared's mothers was blaming him because they had a fight last night.They finnally decided to cut mallory's hair. Jared wondered again about the note. He went to the attic level wich they werent allowed to go to. Jared found a book there called Arthur Spiderwick's Field guide to the fantastical world around you. -
Chapter 4
Jared told his sister and his brother about the book he had found in the attic. He started reading the book ad strangely enough he just wanted to keep reding. He found this creature called a Boggarts. These creature are ment to be helpful but if you make them mad they'll go crazy. He thought it was the creature in the wall and the one who had tied mallory hair because they must have wrecked its house. He left him food so that if he was tempted he would leave traces. But his mum cought him. -
Chapter 6
This morning when he woke up the entire kitchen was messed up. And his brother was crying. His mother fought it was him again.Simon's tadpoles were in the fridge frozen. His mother punished him and told him he had to pack up the entire kitchen. He found an idea since the booggart was mad because they had destroyed its house he just had to make him an other one instead. Jared's mother told him that if he continued being like that she was taking him to see someone. -
Chapter 7
He told mallory and simon his idea. They decided to help him put the house up in the room they had found and simon asked to go first up. They left a note with the house saying that they were sorry to have messed up it's house, they hoped he liked is new one and asked him to take care of simon's mice wich they thought he mighth have.A few days later they came back up there and the note was gone.Then they saw the boggart holding the two mouses. He told them that the book jared had found was bad.
