    This was a communist leader of Vietnam. He was in a poweful position when Vietnam was split in two. He suprivised the taking back of the other half of Vietnam. He is why Vietnam remains a communist nation today.

    This is when all of europe opened up to free trade within the country. This established a system of trade that lasted for many years.

    It is a time when the city of berlin was surrounded by a communist zone, so americans,the british, and the germans tried to send in supplies via aircrafts. It was significant becuase it was the first time a city was closed into a communist zone, it showed that the domino effect of communism didn't always work.

    It is a group of countries that agrees to follow the north atlantic treaty which means, all will come to the defense of another country in the treaty if attacked by an outside country. It's important because it's still around today.
