Liesel hides a jew named max
Liesel starts delivering laundry for Rosa, and delivers to the mayors wife who has shelves of books. Liesel and her foster parents take in a jewish boy named Max to hide from the Nazis. *time this event took place is unknown so im just guessing -
Max gets very sick
Max gets sick and falls into a coma, he gets better. Nazis come and look in the basement to see if it would be deep enough for a bomb shelter. *time this event took place is unknown so im just guessing -
War and bombing breaks out
people start bombing near Liesels home, so they much hide in a neighbors basement. Nazis atart marcing jews through town, Hans sees a old man falling behind and helps him, they both get whipped -
Max leaves
Hans realizes he in now seen as a possible Jewish Allie so Max must leave his basement as it may be unsafe.Rosa gives Liesel a book max made for her called "the word shaker". -
Hans in the army
Hans was sent to the German army, following that he breaks his leg, and is sent home to help it. Liesel sees Max marched through the town, and she tells her friend about hiding him before. -
Everyone killed in a bombing
Liesel is given a notebook to write her own book, whist downstairs writing it her neighborhood was bombed and everyone except her was killed. -
Lisels life afterwards
Liesel moves to australia, and lives a long happy life there.
