They sat at an all white lunch counter and did not move, it soon led to other protests like this one. In result theaters, hotels, hospitals, and other public places desegragated voluntarily.

    On March 7, 1965 in Selma Montgumery there was a nonviolent march. The march was led by Martin Luther King Jr. The march was for equal rights and it led to the Voting Rights Acts of 1965.

The school buses were segregated so it took a lot longer for black children to get home. In result Judge McMillian found it unconstituitanal and the school buses became intergrated.
