TWA Flight 355 Hijacking
*TWA flight 355 flight was a domestic Trans World Airlines flight.
* It was Hijacked by Slobodan Vlašić, Zvonko Bušić, his wife Julienne Bušić, Petar Matanić, and Frane Pešut.
*They landed the plane at Montreal's Mirabel International Airport to refuel and said they have planted a bomb in a locker at Grand Central Station.
* They surrendered and went to prison. -
The Iran Hostage Crisis
- The Iran Hostage Crisis was a crisis between Iran and the United States.
- 52 American citizens and diplomats were taken hostage for 444 days.
- There were many failed attempts to negotiate with them.
