  • Presidency

    Ronald Reagan was elected president in 1981 and served until 1989.
  • Immigration Reform and Control Act

    Ronald Reagan signed the Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986. The people hoped this act would limit the number of illegal immigrants that entered the US as well as deal with the undocumented immigrants in the US already.
  • Tax Reform Act of 1986

    This Act reduced the highest corporate tax to 34%, and the highest income tax to 28%. It also eliminated multiple loopholes.
  • Berlin Wall

    The Berlin Wall was torn down years later, in 1990, after President Reagan told Mikhail Gorbachev to tear down the wall.
  • Presidency

    In 1992, Bill Clinton was elected president. He was a democrat.
  • Invention

    In 1994, one of the world's top-selling video game consoles was released. The Playstaion.
  • Scientific Advancements

    In 1997, Dolly, the world's first cloned sheep, was announced to the public. She was created at the Roslin Institute in Scotland. She died after Roslin institute euthanized her after a lung tumor appeared that could not be fixed.
  • 9/11

    On September 11, 2001, a plane crashed into the world trade center. That plane was hijacked by terrorists and ended up killing many many people.
