John Herschel
John was born on Jul 18, 1921 in Cambride Ohio. He has been awarded The Flying Cross on six ocasians. He served in world war 2 and flew 59 combat missions. On april 1959 he was selected as a Project Mercury Astornaut. He was also the first american in space. -
Neil Armstrong
Neil Armstrong was born on Aug 3, 1930 in Wapa Konetakit Ohio. He was married with 3 kids Karen, Mark, Eric. Sadly Karen died at the youg age of 2. Armstrong had won many awards in his career including the Presidential Medel for Freedom. In 1962 Armstrong was transfered to Astornaut statis. He was the commander of apollo 11 and the first man on the moon. -
Ken Money
Ken was born on jan 4, 1935 in Toronto Ontario. He is married with one daughter. He is the first person to make a subtancial contribution to aviation medicene. He first joined nasa in 1962. He acted as a sientific Adviser. -
Buzz Aldren
Buzz was born on Jan 20, 1939 in mount clair New Jersey. He was married and had 3 kids, 1 daughter and 2 sons. Buzz in 1969 like Neil Armstrong had also won the Presidential medel for freedom. He was a crew member for the rocket apollo 11 just like Armstrong accept Armstrong was a commander. so buzz was on the Rocket with Armstrong. -
Marc Garneau
Marc was born on Feb, 1949 in Quebec City Canada. Marc was a navel weapon systems enginer; he created a simulater that helped weapons officers in the use of missle systems. Marc started Astornaut training in 1992 and had loged 627 hours in space. -
Sally Ride
Sally was born on May 26, 1951 in Los Angles californa. She was not married. Sally had first become an Astornaut on Jan, 1978 and completed her training in 1979. She was assigned to the crew of the sts 61 m; That was her first mission. -
Robert Thirsk
Robert was born on Aug 17, 1953 in New westminister British Columbia. He started his training in 1983. In 2009 Robert became the first Astornaut to fly a long duration mission. -
Dave Williams
Dave was born on May 16, 1954 in saskatoon sk. He was married with 2 kids and enjoys flying, scuba diving, hiking, sailing and cross country skiing. He completed his Astornaut training in 1993 and flew his first mission in 1998. It was a 16 day flight.
