  • Automated Teller Machine (ATM)

Creator of this technology is up for debate, but the convenience it has provided to the public is obvious. No more waiting in line, or next business day to receive your cash. The ATM provides everyone money with the press of a button whenever you need it.

  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI)

Inventor Raymond Damadian created the first MRI machine. This magnetic machine paved the way for physicians and healthcare. With the use of magnets, radio waves, and computer technology, providers are able create detailed images of the human body to detect medical conditions.
  • Global Positioning System (GPS)

Credit for inventing the GPS system is accredited to Easton, Getting, and Parkinson; however, without Dr. Gladys West mathematical model of global positioning, it would not be what it is today.
GPS was originally invented to assist military personnel with their vehicles positioning. Now days, it is vastly utilized to assist everyday people with the most efficient route to the restaurant across town.
