    Digitalis : Today it’s used in pills or injections, to treat heart conditions.
    Quinine: This is used from the cinchona tree, it helps fevers, muscle spasm, and gastrointestinal pain.
    Atropine: The medicine is used from the poisonous nightshade plant. It relives muscle spasms and gastrointestinal pain.
    Morphine: This is used to treat severe pain, its normally used when nothing else works.

    Health records: they were one of the first people to keep health records and they started to be able to identify diseases.
    Who are physicians: they were priest who took on the role and learned how to set bone fractures, bloodletting.
    How did they heal: using all the tools they were able to start treating people.

    Developments of acupuncture: they used this as early as the sone age, the medical pioneers used this to treat illnesses and diseases using stone tools.

    Illness cause nature vs spiritual: they were the first to discover the cause of the disease either natural or spiritual.
    Dissection: religious reasons they were not allowed to do dissections.
    Hippocrates: the father of medicine, he kept note on observations and symptoms.

    sanitation system: they started to realized that some disease would be spread to lack of sanitation. So the towns built aqueducts to bring clean water in.
    Organize medical care: the Roman’s sent medical equipment and physicians to the battles.
    Hospital development: physicians were paid by the government. This is how medical building were started and wearing masks.

    for about 1,000 years medicine practice was stopped and only used in convents , monasteries. The church had believed that life and death was chose by god. The monks and priest had not interest in medicine so they relied on prayer.
