  • Japanese-American Internment

    Japanese-American Internment

    ***I found it hard to believe that this happened in our democracy. will not occur in Shaiocracy.
  • HUAC Began Investigations of "Communist Sympathizers"

    *** I am including this in my timeline because those who refused to answer cited their rights under the first amendment.
  • NAACP's Thurgood Marshall

    NAACP's Thurgood Marshall
    [https://www.timetoast.com/timelines/1492396/edit] The NAACP's Marshall argued that segregation was unequal and harmful to black students. In the decision Chief Justice Warren stated that the doctrine of separate but equal has no place in public education.

Her arrest set off a year of conspiracy trials, fire bombings, White Supremacists shootings. Ultimately these events brought the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. to the forefront by encouraging "peaceful resistance."

    March On Washington

    ***Shaiocracy will encourage peaceful demonstrations and will welcome positive changes.

    ***Shaiocracy will uphold nondiscrimination and include other segments of society that have suffered discrimination.

    On January 20, 2009 Barack Obama was sworn in as the first black president of the U.S. Racial divide was still present.
    ***What a milestone for all those who fought for civil rights. I wish my black great-grandfather would have lived to celebrate this.
