Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation was a big part of the end of the war. The paper was from the british that siad that the colonies could go over the boarder. It is land for the indians. It is important because the colonist wanted to move onto the land and make money for growing crops and make more homes for there families. -
Currency Act.
The Currency act took a toll on the Colinies. There was a shortages of money for trading purposes. There wass no gold or silver miners to find money. So this was a long and hard time for the colines. -
Sugar Act
The sugar act was when british colonies in the new America started to plant sugar. It was when the british put a tax on the sugar. It was very hard time for the people. -
Quartering Act
The quarting act was a very big because the colonies didnt want to pay for all of the things. The Colonies didnt want them to come to America and they had to pay for everything. They where boarded onto ships and sent over to the new world in the blink of an eye -
Stamp Act
This was a time when the colinies had to pay tax on every peice of paper that they would print. This made the people in the colonies very mad but they really had no way of doing anything. -
The Stamp Act Congress
This was the time when 27 so called representatives when to New York to Argue the stamp Act. I guess you could say the Colonies were happy because people were going to fight the Act. -
Declatory Act
This was when the British made a law that said that the British could pass laws on the colonies with out the colonies having a say. The colonies were very mad because they knew that the British would destroy thier lives. -
Townsend Act
This was a time when revenue was collected from the colonists. They had to work with glass, lead, paints, paper, and tea. The colonist wrote many people letters in there anger.
