    Nikolia Andreyevich Rimsky Korsakov was born March 18th, 1844. Rimsky was born in Tikhvin located in Russia. His parents names were Andrey Rimsky-Korsakov and Sofya Rimsky-Korsakov. They were a wealthy, noble, aristocratic Russian family.

    Since Rimsky graduated from the navy he had to embark on a round the world trip. Rimsky was on the boat "Almaz", before he left he promised his parents he would compose music on board.The cruise lasted 2 years and 8 months. During this time Rimsky- Korsakov visited Germany, England, The United States of America (where he went on a trip to the Niagara Falls), Brazil, France and Spain.
