Chase lived with his abusive mother, his strict father, and his younger sister. His mother and father would often argue. They divorce later at an unknown date. -
Cats
By the time chase was ten, he had shown 3 of the signs of a serial killer. He wet the bed to an unusual age, set fires, and killed multiple cats. -

Growing Up
As chase became a teenager he began to use drugs and drink. He was caught multiple times but showed no signs of remorse. After moving out of his parents house, he moved in with friends. They where put off by his odd behaviour and asked him to leave. After he refused, they moved out, leaving chase with no way to make rent, forcing him to move back in with his mother. Soon after, he began to beleive she was poisoning him, and moved into an apartment paid for by his father. -
Rabbit's Blood
Chase, was involuntarily sent to a mental institution after being taken to a hospital for blood poisoning. He contracted this after injecting rabbit's blood into his veins. -

Unlocked Doors
Chase often wandered the streets looking for unlocked doors. He thought a locked door meant he wasn't wanted, but that an unlocked door was an invitation to come inside. -

Chase is let out of the Institution after being deemed "no longer a threat to society" -
The Medication is Removed
Chase's parents were given the opportunity to renew their conservatorship on their sons medication but they thought he was doing fine so they rejected the offer and took Chase off the medication. -
The Cow Feild
Chase was found wandering around in a field naked and covered in what was later determined to be cow's blood. He had a bucket of cow's blood, along with a cow's liver, in his truck. A report was filed, but little else was done. -
The First Kill
Today Chase killed Ambrose Griffin. A 51-year-old helping his wife bring in the groceries only to be shot and killed in a drive-by. -
Random Violence
Chase attacked a neighbor after he asked for a cigarette then restrained her until she turned over the entire pack. Chase was also seen today carrying animals into his apartment. they where never seen coming out. -
Second Kill
Today Chase killed pregnant Teresa Wallin.She was taking out the garbage when Chase entered through her unlocked front door. He shot Teresa three times, raped her corpse while stabbing her several times. He then removed multiple organs, cut off one of the nipples and drank the blood. -
Random Violence
He broke into a house, robbed it, urinated inside a drawer, and defecated on the bed in a child's room. Interrupted by the owners return, Chase was attacked but managed to escape. -
The Massacre
Evelyn Miroth, 38, six-year-old Jason, and friend Dan Meredith, were found murdered inside Evelyn's home. Missing was Evelyn's 22-month-old nephew David, who she had been baby sitting. Dan Meredith's body was found in the hallway killed with a direct gunshot would to his head. Evelyn and Jason were found in Evelyn's bedroom. Jason had been shot twice in the head. Also left at the scene were clear hand and shoe prints, which soon led police to Chase's door. -
The Trial
Chase's trial begins for his 6 counts of murder. -
The Conviction
Chase is found guilty of the murders and sentenced to death. -
Death
Richard Trenton Chase, "Dracula", or "The Vampire Killer Of Sacramento", is found in his cell dead from an overdose on his medication. Rather than taking it as instucted, Chase stockpiled it until he had enogh to kill himself.
