  • Proclamation of 1763

    It was after the British won the seven years' war and got land in north america, they issued it and that ended the French and Indian war.
  • Tea Act

    It was one of many taxes that the people said was unfair of there leader to take the things they need for tax. This later lead to the Boston Tea Party.

    The sons of liberty went as native american's on three ships called the Beaver, Dartmouth, and Eleanor and threw the tea into the see to show what they thought of the tea act.
  • First Continental Congress

  • Lexington and Concord

    The battle was the first one in the revolution. It was between the kingdom of Britain and the thirteen colonies.

    They did it to reconvening the first one. And of the 56 delegates who were at the first one attended the second also.
  • Declaration of Independence

    It was written by Thomas Jefferson and they wrote it to say why they were free. It also has the complaints about the British king.
  • Common Sense

    It was written by Thomas Paine in 1775 going to 1776, he wrote in in clear and persuasive prose. And after it was published on January 10, 1776 it became an immediate sensation.
  • Treaty of Paris

    It was written in Paris and signed by King George III to say that they surrender to the united states ending the war.
  • Siege of Yorktown

    It was also know as the Battle of Yorktown it lasted from September 28, 1781 to October 19 1781. The victory was by a combined force of American Continental Army and French Army troops.
