A proclomation that closed off the frontier to colonial expansion because the Indians feared that the colonists would drive them away from there home. -
Boston Massacre
The Boston Massacre was the killing of 5 male patriots, (the British Army shot them) because the patriots formed a mob around the British soldiers, and a fight broke out. Which then lead to high tensions throughout the 13 colonies. -

The Boston tea party
A political protest by the Sons of Liberty. The sons of liberty descuisged themselves as American indians and destroyed all the tea by throwing it in the harbor as a boycott on the taxation of tea. This was a huge step closer to the Revolutionary war. -
Lexington and Conord (Both battles)
These two battles were the first confrontion of the war (the first fights) the colonists had numbers and won the first engagments, until the 'shot herd 'round the world' at an unfair advantage, the war had began. -
The Battle of Bunker Hill
Still early in the American Revolutionary War, word got out that the Britain had plans to attack, so 1,200 Colonial troops overtook Bunker hill before the Britain arrived. The Britain were enformed and turned the table. The British won, but lost around 266, and more than 866 wounded. A big shock, but a self ateem boost for them in there next battles. -
Olive Branch Petition
This was a last chance attempt to stop the war, but when it was not recieved by the King, before he declared the colonists traitors. -

(A Pamphlet) Written by Thomas Paine. To tell people the 'common sense' that the 13 colonies deserve freedom, and indapendence from Britain. -
The Battl of Trenton
With two american deaths (By freezing to death), and four injured. The first win for the Ameicans. Won by the colonists, lead by George Whashington (Future president) -
Declaration of Independence
A statement that announced that the 13 American colonies, which also means they announced themselves indepented states, no longer a part of the British Empire. The Britian Empire was mad, so that sparked war. (Modern day 4th of July) -
