Fourteenth Amendment
The 14 amendment gave citizenship to the people who were born in the United States. That includes recently freed slaves. It expanded protection of civil rights to all Americans. -
Freedom's Bureau
The Freedom's Bureau was set up by the federal government near the end of the Civil War. It helped make bllacks and slaves live a better life. The slaves were able to get and education. -

Abraham Lincoln and his wife went to Fords theater. He was shot in the back of the head when the performance was nearly over. In conclusion Andrew Jackson necame the 17 president of the United States. -
13 Amendment Ratified
The 13 Amendment ended slavery for good. When it was done the states could return to the US congress. Finally slvery was done once and for all. -
Georgia Readmitted into the Union
During the Civil War lots of southernern states succeeded from the Union. Making the Confederate States. Those states did not want to loose slavery after a bloody war the families of the states readmitted. -
Fifthteenth Amendment Ratied
The 15 amendment tried to secure the right to vote. Newly freed slaves were givin the right to vote. To abolistionists the right to vote was most important of citizenship of black men. -
Henery McNeal Turner
He settled in in Macon and he was elected legislature during Reconstruction. He planted many chirches all over Georgia. He began to support black nationalism and emigration of blacks to Africa, he was the cheif figure. -
Election of Rutherford B. Hayes
He was very liked the Replican Party.He had much to offer, he was consedered th ''War King". That election was considered the closets, lonestest,hostile, and most controversial race.
